Quick Update

It's been a while since my last post but I went ahead and ordered the parts for my CNC router. I'm still waiting for some components to arrive which will probably happen early next week. I'll probably take some time to calibrate it and to get used to the machine. Once that's done, I'll go ahead and start fabricating some pieces starting with the head and then I'll alternative between fabricating and designing additional components depending on how heavy the pieces will be.

  1. Hi Roy, I just found your blog & all I can say is that this is incredible!

Excellent job with the design & CAD work for WALL-E.

Please consider using EZ-ROBOT for the electronics & programming to bring WALL-E to life, as it will allow you to do this in a short time.

    Beautiful work.

    Cheers,

  4. Looked over your blog a couple of times and saved some of your images to my pc. I have started building a scale Wall-E and also started a blog about the build. Did you veer do any colour renders of your work? Would you be interested in sharing some of the files for the eyes. Thanks.

  6. Hi Roy,

I am French, and I will admit to you, that I am a little isolated here in France in this process of building a full-scale Wall-e.

I am logged into the Forum of "Wall-e Builder Club" and I have browsed your blog several times and saved some of your images to my computer.

All I can say is that your CAD work for WALL-E is incredible!

Since your last publications, have you been able to concretize its manufacture?

I also started building a Wall-e, which I try to be as accurate as possible, which is why I'm always looking for details. The work on the eyes is very impressive and of high quality.

In this context, would you be kind enough and able to share your files for the eyes and the neck in particular.

    Good work. Great. Awesome !

    Cheers,

    Richard
